Manatees Winter at Blue Spring State Park |

Manatees that spend the winter in the warmer waters of the Blue Spring Run are sometimes crowded together. There is not enough food in the spring run to feed the manatees for as much as several months. The animals must make frequent trips to the St. Johns River to feed.
